Dear Mike,

I wanted to thank you for all your efforts in the recent purchase of my Viking 74 from HMY.  It was a pleasure to work with you through all the issues surrounding buying a boat this big.  There was a major educational effort to show Captain Steve and I what it took to not only drive and fish the boat but also manage all the complex systems in the 74.  Ends up it is easy to run this boat and the 74’s size and range enables us to plan larger and more complex fish tagging studies.

I also appreciate you constant help after the sale.  Whether it be picking and ordering the flats boat on the bow of the Makara to helping us with operational and service questions, you have been there.  Our mission at the foundation is to push the edge of fishery conservation throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.  We feel confident we have both the boat and the support of both Viking Yachts and HMY to accomplish out goals.  And as always you are invited anytime to go with us as the designated angler to reel in the big fish for tagging.

I just wanted to write you a thank you for you and your company's wonderful service. I have never dealt with a more professional boat organization during the purchase and after purchase support. You have followed through on your promises and, also, helped me find good aftermarket suppliers when needed.

HMY New Yacht Sales, Inc, has a great customer support staff headed by Roger Willis, who always responds quickly to solve the few problems we have had. Roger has gone out of his way several times to show us how to operate equipment that is new to us, and you can tell that he has great pride in his job.

The whole staff has been wonderful to work with!!

Our first trip to the Bahamas was in windy weather with fairly heavy seas. We had no problems handling this weather in the Riviera 51 and are looking forward to our extended trip to the Bahamas this spring.

I wanted this letter to follow our last telephone conversation so I could once again reiterate how pleased I am with my new 61' Viking Convertible and my experience with HMY Yacht Sales. From the onset, my sales consultant, Mike Burke, was always prompt and responsive to all questions and issues. During the ordering and construction of the boat Mike’s assistance and knowledge was invaluable and made the building process very easy, exciting, and enjoyable.

What I found to be the most impressive about your organization, however, was having Tom Lombardi of your office follow the boat down the factory line as it neared completion. I am convinced that Tom’s supervision helped to prevent many months of correcting defects that are typically associated with the delivery of a new boat. At closing, Tom was extremely professional in his handling of Viking factory personnel and getting problems corrected quickly and efficiently. In my humble opinion, Tom Lombardi is a critical link between the customer and a better product leaving the factory.

As you know, customer satisfaction at the end of the sale leaves the most lasting impression. Having Tom Lombardi on your team can only serve to increase your customers’ satisfaction. I know it did for me.
